Weights (poem)

A man
A boy
A follower
A prophet
A leader
A human
A teacher
A creator
All within the darkest of fears
All within their grasp
All within
Creation’s understanding
Of complex subtleties
Never felt the hole
Never filled the void
Of self-containment
Of self-doubt
To continue a life unlived
Immoral rights
Out-weigh
Immoral wrongs
The creator’s hands cannot reach
Inside our own psyche
It is we who must display compassion
It depends on the now of human existence
